The Mourning After A Leprechaun’s Dream Is Crushed

sad seamusThe House on the Hill has officially been declared a disaster area on this rainy September Sunday.  Last night’s Notre Dame game went until almost midnight and ended with the Fighting Irish losing, so that dampened the mood even more than this torrential downpour has.

Of course, no one ever stays to help clean up after a football rager.  I wish my Witch friends enjoyed the sport because they could have this place sparkling clean with the utterance of a single spell.  Maybe I’ll ask one of them to come for a visit today…

I actually might need the help of a Witch with another, more pressing matter this morning.  Seamus, Maine’s lone Leprechaun and the only being I know who is a bigger Notre Dame fan than me in these parts, took last night’s loss quite hard.

Luckily, I snatched his shillelagh from him early in the second quarter…
